Position: Sales Manager – Enterprise & Datacenter

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Sales Manager to join our team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales of copper and fiber optic components used in data centers and commercial building. The ideal candidate will possess a general understanding of copper & fiber optic technology, data center infrastructure, and have a proven track record in technical sales. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling sales propositions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and target potential customers in the enterprise & data center market.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Generate and manage a sales pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
2. Technical Support:
- Provide technical consultation to customers on copper & fiber optic components and solutions.
- Understand customer requirements and propose appropriate products and solutions.
- Assist in the design and implementation of enterprise & data center networks.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for customers.
3. Customer Support:
- Act as a primary point of contact for technical support and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with the technical team to resolve customer issues and ensure satisfaction.
- Provide post-sales support to ensure successful implementation and ongoing customer success.
4. Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales management to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to stay updated on product developments and innovations.
- Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer insights and market trends.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to management.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and project details.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including proposals, specifications, and training materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the fiber optics or data center industry.
- Strong knowledge of fiber optic technology, data center infrastructure, and networking solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and compelling sales messages.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with data center design and implementation.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to fiber optics and data centers.
- Technical certifications related to fiber optics or networking.
