SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) in our sales department to become a dynamic duo to our amazing associates! If you are passionate about growth, building elite customer relationships, collaboration, results, and having a little fun, this job is for you! The BDM is in charge of developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying and developing high-potential & high-performing distributors, and establishing an effective working relationship with them to enhance customer satisfaction and retention to drive desired results. The BDM provides support to our proud, loyal, and active distributors to eventually develop themselves into leaders and ambassadors for ASEA. The Business Development Manager works to drive enrollment, support retention, conduct training in 3 languages, develop leadership, and maintain positive distributor relations in Malaysia.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute regional strategic, business, and plans.
  • Drive the development, progression, and fulfillment of all sales promotions and incentives to create growth in key metrics of the business Consistently increase revenue, enrollments, and over-all growth in Malaysia.
  • Develop strong partnerships with distributors to grow their businesses.
  • Work proactively and regularly with distributors to develop solid leaders for a solid future.
  • Conduct periodic goal setting and performance/business review with key leaders.
  • Conceptualize and implement sales trainings for associates and leaders.
  • Conduct presentation, associate calls, and general motivation to field
  • Drive adoption of key programs, tools, and other important messages from the corporate office.
  • Manage conflicts and to come up with effective negotiation and sales strategies.
  • Define clear sales plans and execute them effectively and professionally.
  • Communicating company procedures and policy & announcements to the fields.
  • Create and coordinate the delivery of effective field communication plan with marketing to optimize sales, growth, and attain company strategic goals. Communication channels such as official Facebook and WhatsApp blasting & unified emailing. Make sure all corporate updates and announcements are communicated timely to the field.
  • Communicate and build collaborative relationships with other departments within Malaysia, within the APAC region, and at the HQ, to ensure information flow.
  • Ensure first-class customer care and service.
  • Report success and program details to sales leadership.
  • Willing to travel to various areas within assigned regions.
  • Collecting market-relevant information & providing suggestions and recommendations to improve market development and sales strategies.
  • Coordinate & conducting sales events in different states of Malaysia which will cover wide geographical areas. Prepare, edit & review all relevant associates’ training modules.
  • Executing the recognition weekly communications protocols. (Sending congratulatory emails, calls, pins & certificates).
  • Aiding cross-department requests on specific corporate organized events and task.
  • Work with the Compliance department to make sure company policy & procedure is carried out in Malaysia in the proper manner.
  • Reports to the General Manager of Malaysia & Singapore.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Full fluency in Mandarin, Bahasa Malay and in business-related English (verbal, written, comp).
  • At least 3-5 years' sales experience in the Direct Sales, MLM, or Network Marketing industry required.
  • Proven track record of growing sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, customer service, attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and project management skills.

Able to work independently and prioritize in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.

  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia (Written & Verbal)
