We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced *Client Representative/Project Engineer* to oversee and supervise on-site activities.The ideal candidate will serve primarily to the Project Manager and act as a crucial role and point of contact between the client and the project team, ensuring that all project deliverables meet quality, safety, and timeline requirements. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage on-site operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Client Liaison:

  • During the absence of Project Manager, serve as the point of contact for the client, addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to the client in a clear and professional manner.

On-Site Supervision

  • Oversee daily on-site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.

Project Coordination

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure alignment with project goals.

Quality Assurance

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet project standards.
  • Document and report any deviations from the project plan and recommend corrective actions.

Reporting

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to the client and project team.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including inspections, tests, and meetings

Problem-Solving

  • Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly to minimize delays and cost overruns.
  • Propose innovative solutions to technical challenges while maintaining project objectives.

Safety Compliance

  • Ensure all on-site activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct safety briefings and promote a culture of safety among site personnel

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
  • Proven experience as a Project Engineer, Site Supervisor, or similar role in [industry, e.g., construction, oil & gas, infrastructure, etc.].
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, construction methods, and engineering standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
  • Certification in health and safety (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) is a plus.
