About the role:
You will be reporting to the Strategy Lead and will contribute to the development of growth and expansion initiatives for RPG. You should also have no problem in influencing the leadership team and cross functional teams to achieve alignment. The ideal candidate should be ready to roll up their sleeves & collaborate closely with team leads to take on a wide range of challenges, examples include strategy formulation, launching new business verticals, operational implementation & optimization, market research, business development and people management.
Job Responsibilities :
1. Strategy & CEO’s office (50%)
- Facilitate and support strategy development, implementation and monitoring of strategic projects to deliver business value to key stakeholders.
- Involve in special projects across various departments from building new verticals, M&A opportunities, operations optimization, country expansion etc.
- Assist in research and insights projects such as market research, competitor benchmarking, pricing strategy etc.
- Support fundraising initiatives and investor relations.
2. Venture Arm (50%)
- Identify new business opportunities that align with the overall group strategy. (Brand incubation, M&A or market expansion)
- Conduct due diligence and feasibility studies to determine viability of business.
- Launch the new business venture from ideation to execution.
No requirements but bonuses we are looking for:
1. Experience with data analysis, automation and presentation. Technical skills in Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, JavaScript and Python.
2. Experience launching or founding member of a business or university club/society.
3. Structured thought process and a strong analytical ability.
- You are able to drown the noise, spot opportunities and use facts/data to clearly communicate your ideas.
4. Leadership and project management.
- You have led a personal or university related project from ideation to completion and played an instrumental role in it.
5. Track record of being innovative, agile and disrupting the status quo.
