Job description

Primary duties and responsibilities

  1. Technical Support in the ZSP (ZEISS Sales Process) System Sales and After Sales Goals
  • Application support during the IG (Information Gathering) process, collaborating with Sales team in customizing solutions to potential customers.
  • Application support during the IS (Information Sharing) process, collaborating with Sales team in providing Demo, Presentations, and meetings to present our Solution.
  • Develop skills & knowledge via ZEISS learning paths and skills matrix with assigned products and services.

2. Sustained revenue generation as Application Services provider

  • Execute solutions e.g.: measuring services, accessory solutions, programming services & consulting services to generate revenue.
  • After sales product push for Software Maintenance Agreements (SMA), additional software options, software upgrades, and promoting the use of the ZEISS Portal e.g. online training.

3. ZEISS Academy – Provide Training to end customers and public courses

  • Provide training based on sales contracts as well as billable training to end customers on our devices, software, solutions, and fundamental preparatory courses e.g., AUKOM
  • Know and understand all aspects of compliance, standard operating procedure (SOP), certifications accreditations as a Trainer.
  • Manage different mode of training e.g.: Remote virtual setup, classroom setup, factory setup and webinar setup.

4. Engineering Solutions Pre Sales and Post Sales

  • Provide solutions on fixturing design, special tools, stylus, and project solutions. e.g., design a fixture for programming services.

5. Process Compliance:

  • Adheres to process requirements, operation procedures, legal compliances, Brand compliance.
  • Complete reports on time e.g., CRM Mobile X entries and sign off from customer on the last day of job.
  • Punctual for meetings
  • Presentable attire.

Knowledge / Skills / Other characteristics

  • Able to interact in a professional manner with customers and co-workers.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Knowledge on CAD based software.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Presenting confidently and clearly to a medium to large audience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel within the country /region as required.
