Job Description
- Key responsibilities include planning, implementing inventory control measure, cycle count, periodic audits, and reconciliation process.
- Ensure proper Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for asset movements between different facilities.
- To maintain data accuracy, identify discrepancies and conduct investigation on asset losses.
- Ensure accountabilities of assets among key personnel of each facility to avoid asset losses due to damage, theft, or pilferage.
- Planning, forecasting, purchasing and distribution of assets and consumables to ensure no down time in operation.
- Working closely with functional teams especially the operation team to understand the end-to-end process and requirement in order to assess their assets requirement.
- Perform cost analysis to support the purchasing decisions. Data analysis on utilization rate of assets, identification of abnormal consumption rates, anticipating shortage as well as provides mitigation strategies and contingencies plans.
- Identify cost saving opportunities, process improvements, assessment on assets and consumables.
- Regular reporting to the management.
- A diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant discipline is recommend.
- At least 5 years of experience in inventory and asset management or similar capacity.
- Prior engagement in data analysis, cost saving, budgeting, audits, data management, process improvements, operations planning would be an added advantage.
- Has an eye for detail and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Portray the ability to manage complex issues, solutions oriented and able to work in a dynamic environment across cross-functional teams.
