Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage engineering-related activities during the pre-development phase of projects.
- Provide technical input for bidding and tender preparation, ensuring feasibility and compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with Owner’s Engineers (OE) and relevant stakeholders on technical and contractual matters.
- Assess engineering and construction methodologies, identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Review and interpret contractual documentation, ensuring alignment with project scope and regulatory requirements.
- Manage procurement strategies, cost estimates, and project scheduling for pre-development activities.
- Support contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and risk management strategies are in place.
- Develop, maintain, and establish strong working relationships with consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Liaise with project owners, government authorities, and industry professionals to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering, project services, or contract management within the power, energy, or construction industry.
- Well-versed in contract and project services, with experience handling contractual documentation and pre-development processes.
- Strong technical expertise in engineering & construction project management, particularly in power generation projects.
- Proven skills in negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and presentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic project environment.
