About the Role:

The Head of Deal Origination for the KLDX Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) platform will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of dealing with issuers, ensuring seamless deal origination, efficient processing, and exceptional client servicing.

Educational Background:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  2. An MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are preferred.

Experience:

  1. 10+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, venture capital, private equity, or a related field, with demonstrated success in deal origination and project management.
  2. Proven experience with Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), or other forms of digital fundraising platforms is highly desirable.
  3. Strong background in managing client relationships, leading teams, and executing fundraising transactions end-to-end.
  4. Demonstrated success in leading and inspiring high-performing teams, cultivating a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous professional growth.

Skill and Competencies:

  1. Deal Origination and Structuring: Ability to identify, evaluate, and structure attractive investment deals, aligning them with market trends and platform standards.
  2. Leadership and Team Management: Proven experience in team leadership, recruitment, and performance management, with a focus on creating a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  3. Project Management: Strong project management skills to ensure smooth end-to-end processing of IEOs, including effectively coordination with internal teams (legal, compliance, operations, marketing) and external stakeholders.
  4. Client Relationship Management: Excellent relationship-building skills with experience acting as a primary client contact, managing issuer expectations, and enhancing client experience throughout the project lifecycle.
  5. Financial and Market Analysis: Strong analytical skills, including the ability to assess financial information, market dynamics, and regulatory changes, and provide strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

Deal Origination:

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential issuers for IEO listings.
  • Evaluate the viability and alignment of potential projects with platform standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to structure attractive deals that align with market trends.

Processing & Distribution

  • Lead the end-to-end processing of IEOs, coordinating with legal, compliance, and operations and marketing teams.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of documentation, compliance checks, and due diligence.
  • Manage the communication flow between internal stakeholders and issuers during the processing phase.
  • Work with marketing and sales for successful distribution

Client Servicing:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for issuers, providing exceptional service and addressing their needs.
  • Monitor and enhance the overall client experience, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
  • Handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships with issuers throughout the IEO lifecycle.
