Project Manager (Interior Design)

• To oversee overall project activities and take lead on project implementation, develop a detailed project execution plan to monitor and track project site performance and oversee site works progress to ensure successful completion.
• To liaise and coordination with clients, contractor, sub-contractors, carpentry, supplier and relevant authorities to ensure execution and quality plan and execution of the contract requirements.
• To plan and execute manpower, materials, equipment and other resources required for project.
• To manage & monitor supervision on the works performed by in-house staff or subcontractors at sites and to motivate the entire team.
• Coordinate with all relevant department and work as a team.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly site progressive reports & updates with designer and management.
• To reports and develop remedial measures if necessary.
• To attend all related meeting as required.
• Responsible for project’s correspondence and documentations.
• Monitoring safety & regulations on-site.
• Problem-solving on site to address any issues: Able to arrange and coordinate meeting with all relevant parties to resolve all the design and construction matters.
• Handle & manage defect works.
• Ensure that the project is completely handed over without any issues & within timeline.
• To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the management.

We're expanding our team and we looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Site Manager to manage the awarded project from beginning to the end of the project. To liaise with contractor at site, monitor the process. Able to chair meeting, internal and external. To advice on the project time frame. What you need to succeed in this role?

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Architecture, Art / Design/ Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
• At least 5 years' working experience in the Construction, Site, Interiors & Fit-Out/renovation industry or related field is required for this position.
• Language required: English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Candidate must have initiative, responsible, hard working, reliable, positive attitude, can work independently or with minimum supervision.
• Willing to outstation.
• Be flexible to work around project timelines to suit project needs. This may at time involve working outside of normal office hours as required to successfully deliver the project.
• Good knowledge in Interior Design & Fit-Out construction sequence of work.
• Knowledge about material application.
• Knowledge in study drawings includes 2D & 3D perspective, layout plan, and detailed drawings.
• Excellent time management and handling several subtrades at one time.
• Self initiative/proactive/committed is needed.
