Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Scope Summary: To schedule, assign and supervise room maid. To assist in related housekeeping operations on the floor and other areas under the Housekeeping Department as assigned to. Responsibilities: 1. Ensure vacant rooms are well-maintained, adequately stocked, and defect-free, reporting any discrepancies to the Front Office. 2. Supervise the timely cleaning of check-out and occupied rooms according to management standards. 3. Inspect showrooms, suites, VIP rooms, and expected arrivals to ensure cleanliness and sufficient amenities. 4. Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of housekeeping equipment, corridors, staircases, and pantries. 5. Block and report rooms requiring special cleaning or maintenance, ensuring they are ready for sale promptly. 6. Follow proper procedures for reporting and rectifying defects, ensuring timely resolution. 7. Monitor and manage Do Not Disturb (DND) rooms, coordinating with staff to arrange cleaning at appropriate times. 8. Ensure all rooms, pantries, and fire exits are secure and free from obstructions before the end of each shift. 9. Maintain proper key control, recording and securing keys at the end of each shift. 10. Conduct spot checks on VIP turn-down service and closely monitor expected arrivals for room readiness.
