OPERATIONS MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITY a) Responsible for overall quality system in production, production planning and maintenance to meet the company quality objectives. b) To propose, plan and carry out plant development activities according to company’s goals and targets. c) To overlook all plant engineering activities inside the company premises d) To ensure all equipment in the plant are running safely, efficiently, and economically. e) To Co-ordinate with contractors for commercial and technical discussions for plant development activities. f) To Coordinate with other departments – Laboratory, Maintenance, Warehouse, and QEHS & Regulatory. g) Responsible for the implementation of Quality Management System, Health & Safety Management System and Environment Management System, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instruction (WI) without compromise in Operation area. h) Troubleshoot machine / equipment malfunction and establish the necessary corrective action plan. i) Manpower and capacity planning. j) Monitor and control the department budget. k) Monitor and improve process and production performance. l) Development of productivity, safety, quality, cost improvement strategies. SKILLS a) Good knowledge of technical background. b) Effective management and day-to-day operations of manufacturing. c) Ability to plan and manage the production line.
