As a key person in our sales team, you will drive business growth in Malaysia by developing strategic plans to discover new opportunities and achieve sales targets. Responsibilities • Lead and manage the team to achieve sales targets and business objectives, provide leadership and guidance, including but not limited to setting performance targets and mentoring team members. • Explore and uncover new business prospects within both existing and potential client bases. • Assess competitors by analysing and summarizing competitor information and trends, identify sales opportunities. • Actively engage in meetings and site visits with clients and key stakeholders to advance sales initiatives, foster valuable relationships, and maintain a strong presence in the industry. • Develop a deep understanding of client needs, challenges, and pain points to tailor solutions that effectively address their specific requirements. • Provide pre-sales and after-sales technical support, and work collaboratively with internal Product and Solutions teams to devise and deliver value-added solutions that meet client needs and overcome their challenges. • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through regular communication and networking. • Responsible for closing commercial deals with clients & business partners, ensuring the completion of all essential approvals and documentation. Requirements • Min. of over 5 years of experience in B2B sales or a related field. • At least a Diploma/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. • Proven track record in achieving sales targets. • An established customer base and professional network within the manufacturing industry are essential. • Excellent communication skills, being able to build relationships with internal and external partners. • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and disciplined, with the ability to work independently and thrive with minimal supervision. • A proactive attitude toward learning and adapting to new technologies. • Willingness and ability to travel both locally and internationally as needed. • IT, semiconductor and advanced manufacturing background are a huge plus. • Proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin to liaise with colleagues and clients in Singapore and China.
