Workshop Mechanic (Base at Estate)

1. Workshop Mechanic (Base at Estate – Sukau, Kinabatangan) Responsibilities: • To ensure all heavy machineries (bulldozer, excavator, farm tractor, backhoe), equipment, light and heavy trucks are in safe and good condition for operation. • Strong in diagnosing the problems of the machineries and fixing them in a timely manner. • To conduct routine inspection and maintenance of the machineries, equipment and etc to ensure proper upkeep. • Know well the spare parts of the heavy equipment, vehicles, installation procedures. • To ensure workplace safety by ensuring the tools kept at a safe place. • Keep logs of work and spontaneous report to Management. • To co-ordinate with HQ. • To assist in any task as and when required by The Management. Requirements: • STPM or Diploma which ever equivalent. • At least 5 years relevant working experience. • Strong technical and analytical, problem-solving skills. • Thorough knowledge and experience of the inner workings of light and heavy trucks/ equipment, heavy machineries & etc. • Possess a valid GDL driving license. • Proficient in basic written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia • Experience in plantation or in related field will be an added advantage Interested applicants are invited to send in their complete resume together with current and expected salary to “[email protected]” Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
