Key Responsibilities: • To manage, supervise, check & control accounting book-keeping operations of full set of accounts i.e. FAR, AP, AR, GL, Cashbook, Journals and Reconciliation accounts. • To manage full-set management accounts closings and analysis on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. • Coordinate with departments on accounting-related issues. • Evaluate operational policies and their impact on financial results. • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis. • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies. • To liaise and follow up with Auditor, Tax Agent, Co-Secretaries, authorities, LHDN and to ensure compliance and timely submission of all statutory related matters e.g. SST filing, Tax filing, Co. Annual Return filing etc. • Manage and mentor junior accounting staff. • Assist in cash flow management and variance analysis. • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls • Any ad-hoc tasks assigned.
