Position Summary

The Senior Electrical & Automation Technical Support is a person with high level of knowledge for the technology and processes within the working area and mentor for the colleagues. The role accountability is to the maintenance KPIs of the production lines and its auxiliary equipment’s, responsible for the Electrical maintenance schedule/tasks assignment/execution. He/She assures the safety & legal compliance on maintenance works, drives “Run to standard” culture and assures the teams are working to it (Safety, Quality, CL, CILs, Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, etc.). The Electrical & Automation Technical Support contributes to the implementation of the Maintenance Roadmap based on the Site Strategy and drives behaviors to go back to basic standard condition also by defining basic standard conditions to technicians and production.

The Electrical & Automation Technical Support He/she is directly involved in the growth of the technical knowledge of his/her colleagues through appropriate training and on-the-job training on the technologies in use and process.

You will play an important role to:

  1. Is a Role Model for Safety.
  2. Actively enforces safe working practices as per company safety policies and ensures works are done as per legal requirements.
  3. Point of expertise in developing the Maintenance Journey in working area. Vision of Zero stops & Zero Breakdowns philosophy minimizes unplanned stops using the right maintenance strategies.
  4. Own the process of breakdown elimination, the Maintenance KPIs and accountable for the overall electrical maintenance cost from the production lines and auxiliary equipment’s.
  5. Analysis & develops necessary maintenance skills in the team. Has meetings to plan all maintenance related activities.
  6. Own, develop, and review the quality standards for maintenance.
  7. Coach organization in all behaviors and tools in terms of Maintenance, Technology and Process.
  8. Work in close collaboration with the mechanical team, quality team and process engineers, by leading & teaching them the most effective troubleshooting procedures and improvements.
  9. Develop a Skill and Capability Journey for the maintenance team to fulfill the full expert maintenance scope (e.g., Planning and Scheduling), including the development of the Operator maintenance part & is a trainer for own working area.
  10. Assist direct superior to provide leadership and direction to the electrical team & support manufacturing business units’ operations to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  11. Serve as the lead electrical resource in all trouble-shooting activities in the manufacturing department, responsible to support shift technicians and line RST’s when required.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience in maintenance or electrical/control system in a highly automated FMCG Manufacturing. The Knowledge of the production processes of the disposable hygiene sector is an important plus
  • Minimum 3-year experience leading a team of maintenance.
  • ‘Hands-On’ experience is critical as the job will require a very ‘hands-on’ approach in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance work.
  • Strong in machinery troubleshooting skills especially in electrical/electronic circuit, pneumatic systems.
  • The knowledge of PLC, Servomotors and AC motors controllers Sys. is compulsory (Siemens Step 7/Mitsubishi/Rockwell/Allen Bradley).
  • Knowledge about 5S principles
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills - English knowledge is required.
  • Exposure: leading a team of electrical maintenance supervisors/technicians
