As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience. You will be responsible for accurately processing transactions, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming checkout process.
Transaction Processing:
- Accurately and efficiently process customer orders and payments using the POS system.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment.
- Issue receipts and provide correct change to customers.
- Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
Customer Service:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly welcome.
- Answer customer questions regarding menu items, pricing, and promotions.
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Handle customer complaints with empathy and efficiency.
Cash Handling:
- Maintain accurate records of all cash transactions.
- Adhere to all cash handling procedures and policies.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
- Ensure the cash register area is clean, organized, and secure.
Restaurant Operations:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cashier area.
