Food Preparation
- Assist in cutting, marinating, and preparing ingredients according to restaurant recipes.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Support chefs in plating and presentation.
- Cooking & Assembly
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, and steamers.
- Follow standard cooking techniques and portion controls.
- Assist in assembling dishes while maintaining quality and speed.
The Kitchen Crew is responsible for assisting in food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. They work under the supervision of the head chef or kitchen manager to maintain high-quality food standards and efficient service.
- Candidate must possess at least Certificates / Vocational / Diploma
- Able to converse in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
- Food Safety Knowledge, Teamwork and Knife skills
- Kitchen Hygiene & Safety
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Properly dispose of waste and handle kitchen chemicals safely.
- Stock & Inventory Management
- Monitor kitchen inventory and restock ingredients when necessary.
- Report any shortages or issues with ingredients to the supervisor.
- Assist in checking deliveries for quality and accuracy.
- Teamwork & Efficiency
- Work collaboratively with chefs, kitchen assistants, and front-of-house staff.
- Maintain efficiency during peak hours while ensuring food quality.
- Follow instructions from the head chef or kitchen manager promptly.
