Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the repair, maintenance, and operation of engineering systems to ensure compliance with departmental standards and local regulations.
  • Oversee the maintenance of power tools, measuring instruments, and equipment, ensuring proper handling and safety.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety in all work areas, minimizing hazards and protecting the surrounding environment.
  • Implement and monitor the Preventive Maintenance Programme, conducting regular inspections of all equipment and facilities, particularly safety features and high-risk areas.
  • Manage weekly work schedules and prioritize tasks in coordination with the Engineering Manager.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance, attendance, and quality of work of technicians and tradespersons.
  • Ensure efficient energy use and the proper functioning of fire, life, and safety systems.
  • Handle guest feedback related to engineering services and ensure effective service recovery.
  • Assist in training and developing team members to ensure they are well-equipped to perform their duties.
  • Coordinate engineering tasks with other departments and supervise contractors to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Take responsibility for all engineering operations in the absence of the Engineering Manager.
  • Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of all mechanical and electrical equipment within the hotel.
  • Lead the fire team in case of an emergency, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Maintain accurate logs of work performed and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.
  • Ensure adherence to safety rules and regulations by all assigned personnel and manage the engineering store outside of office hours.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Technician/Engineering: 2 years (Preferred)
