- Strategy and Planning
- Provide advice and guidance to management form technical point of view.
- Evaluate and recommend technology controls, mitigation techniques and resilience solutions for the Bank.
- Establish a good and effective cross department working relationships with key reporting areas and build strong working relationships with external consultants, vendors, regulators and business user.
- Any other responsibilities / task as assigned by management from time to time
- Perform on technical responsibility as below:
- Manage OpenShift Cluster: Administer, monitor, and maintain multiple OpenShift clusters across various environments (production, disaster recovery, and development).
- Cluster Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain OpenShift clusters using tools like Ansible, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift installation tools.
- Infrastructure Management: Ensure that the OpenShift infrastructure is scalable, resilient, and secure. Manage and configure virtualized infrastructure which is on-premises data centers.
- Container Orchestration: Oversee the management of containerized applications using OpenShift and Kubernetes, ensuring they run optimally and meet business requirements.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Implement and manage monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus & Grafana) for resource utilization, application performance, and cluster health. Troubleshoot performance issues, failures, and outages across the platform.
- Security & Compliance: Manage security configurations, including RBAC, network policies, authentication, and authorization. Ensure compliance with security policies, including OpenShift lifecycle, patching and vulnerability management.
- CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Work with DevOps teams to integrate OpenShift with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the deployment of containerized applications.
- Automation: Automate repetitive tasks, including OpenShift deployment, scaling, patching, and backup using scripts and tools like Ansible and others.
- Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup strategies for OpenShift clusters and associated resources (e.g. persistent storage, etc.).
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for cluster configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure that OpenShift clusters meet the needs of the business and development workflows.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize cluster performance, scale applications effectively, and recommend changes to improve efficiency and uptime.
- Act as 2nd level escalation support when needed
- Improve the Platform management daily operation strategies for the Bank.
- Manage the development and implementation of Platform improvement plans and projects.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensures all operations/project are in compliance with Group, local and regional regulations
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements (eg. MAS, SGX, etc. ) and external auditors

- Strong experience:
- Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL/Oracle Linux etc) system administration, including systemd, firewalld, and SELinux.
- - Experience managing Helm, Ansible, and Git for automation and configuration management.
- - Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or other monitoring and logging tools.
- - Experience with networking concepts including DNS, load balancing, routing, and firewalls in containerized environments.
- - Experience with storage solutions, persistent volumes, and dynamic provisioning in OpenShift.

Requirements
- A recognized diploma/degreed in Information Systems or its equivalent.
- Certification in Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration.
- Knowledge of Cloud-Native technologies like Istio, Prometheus, Jaeger, etc.
- Familiarity with Microservices architecture and managing microservices on Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as an OpenShift Administrator, Kubernetes Administrator, or similar DevOps role.
- Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of OpenShift with Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and virtualized environments (VMware). "
