POSITION SUMMARY:
Occupational therapy (OT) treatment is responsible for helping children with various needs to improve their cognitive, physical, sensory and motor skills and increase their self-esteem and sense of achievement.
Occupational therapy also provides treatment to help those with problems to develop and improve their ability to complete daily tasks in everyday life.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Assessing the patient's physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan.
- Help patients work on fine motor skills so they can grasp and release toys and develop good handwriting skills.
- Help patients with severe developmental whom lacks in basic tasks.
- Help patients with behavioral disorders to maintain positive behaviors in all Environments.
- Evaluate a child's need for specialized equipment, such as wheelchairs, splints, bathing equipment, dressing devices, or communication aids
- Work with kids who have sensory and attentional issues to improve focus and social Skills.
- Educating caregivers and family members of clients on patient care.
- Evaluating results and progress of occupational therapy on clients.
- Maintaining professional knowledge and the technical progress in order to provide clients with the best treatment program available.
- To conduct playgroup and ElP program.
- Provide best treatment to both hospital if needed.
- Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls to confirm appointment.
- Updates job know knowledge by participating in every internal and external training organized by the company e.g. CNE and CME classes.
- Always work as a team to provide the best treatment for patients.
- Willing to work overtime as instructed by HOU/HOD.

BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
