Job description:

1. Payroll Processing:

  • Assist in checking and follow up attendance records
  • Assist in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for the organization, including comprehensive calculation of all components.
  • Assist in generating monthly payment payroll reports and conducting payroll variances to identify and correct errors.
  • Assist in ensuring timely payment for statutory and fixed monthly deduction payment.
  • Assist in maintaining updated and accurate payroll data.
  • Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries
  • Assist in liaising with Merchantrade/ Bank for opening Foreign Worker Account

2. HRIS Management:

  • Assist in managing and maintaining HRIS data to ensure timely and accurate input from site partners.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining HRIS records to ensure accuracy and completeness of employee information.
  • Assist in maintaining and orderly database and filing system both computerized and physical.

3. Statutory Compliance:

  • Assist in liaising with government agencies such as IRB, EPF, SOCSO, and HRDF to ensure compliance with relevant statutory laws and regulations.
  • Assist in monitoring Employee Tax Resident Status for Foreign Worker.
  • Assist in preparing Form EA and YTD
  • Assist in resolving any statutory payment discrepancies

4. Monthly Reporting:

  • Assist in preparing monthly payroll report and bank reconciliation for Finance.
  • Assist in providing Labour Cost Report
  • Assist in updating employee cost center data.

5. Employee Leave Management

  • Assist in verifying employee leave application (MC/Hospitalize)
  • Assist in handling any special leave request such as Marriage Leave, Paternity, Maternity and etc.

6. Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by management

Job requirements:

  • Candidate should possess at least a Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in payroll processing, compensation research, HRIS management, and statutory compliance.
  • Fresh graduate is welcomed to apply for this position!
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is highly preferred.
  • Meticulous, responsible person and have strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Must be willing to work in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya.
