Objectives of the Position
- Develop a comprehensive strategy and framework that aligns HR service offerings with the overall business strategy, ensuring relevance, scalability, and optimal value delivery. This includes analyzing performance, managing risks, and optimizing cost-effectiveness to align with business goals and maximize service value.
- Establish a strategic approach to process excellence by designing and executing a roadmap for continuous improvement and efficiency across the organization. This involves evaluating process flows, identifying inefficiencies through process mining, and benchmarking performance against industry standards to promote ongoing enhancements and digital transformation.
- Manage and grow relationships with key accounts and strategic service recipients, ensuring exceptional value delivery and satisfaction. Oversee the planning and execution of HR transformation projects, providing strategic guidance and change management support to empower HR leadership, while fostering engagement and collaboration within the HR community to align strategies and practices with organizational objectives.
Main Tasks
Service Portfolio Management
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy and framework to align HR service offerings with the overall business strategy, ensuring relevance, scalability, and optimal value delivery.
- Analyze performance metrics, manage risks, and optimize the cost-effectiveness of the service portfolio to ensure alignment with business goals and maximize value.
- Review and assess service performance, benchmarking against market offerings to make strategic adjustments that maintain competitiveness and address evolving business demands.
- Manage portfolio transitions, ensuring contractual adherence and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders to support smooth service delivery and compliance.
- Collaborate with service partners to establish clear objectives and metrics for service offerings, ensuring they meet the needs of stakeholders and drive organizational success.
- Cultivate and grow relationships with key accounts and strategic service recipients to deliver exceptional value, enhance satisfaction, and expand the scope of these relationships over time.
- Keeps up-to-date with market trends, best practices, standards, and regulatory changes, uses data-driven insights to ensure GB HR services stays intact.
Process Expertise and Improvements
- Develop a strategic approach to process excellence by designing and executing a roadmap for continuous improvement, process efficiency, and effectiveness across the organization.
- Evaluate process flows, uncover inefficiencies through process mining, and benchmark performance against industry standards to promote ongoing enhancements and digital transformation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, ensuring that quality standards are integrated throughout the entire service lifecycle.
- Address internal aspects of process excellence, including knowledge sharing and support, while also engaging with external industry trends and networking to stay competitive.
Process Excellence Community and Collaborative Leadership
- Lead and nurture the HR process excellence community, providing guidance, support, and coaching to help peers achieve their quality and process excellence goals.
- Drive engagement and collaboration within the HR community, facilitating knowledge-sharing initiatives and leading service-related events such as webinars and workshops to align with organizational objectives.
- Establish and manage the structure and engagement strategies of the HR community, promoting competence building and cross-border collaboration to enhance overall performance.
- Align with senior HR leadership to manage strategic relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring that HR services are effectively tailored to meet organizational needs and priorities.
- Consistently demonstrates corporate values of Creative, Open, Responsible, and Entrepreneurial (CORE) on people leadership practices and corporate winning behaviors.
Requirements
Education
- Tertiary education, minimum Bachelor of degree in HR, Business Administration or other industry.
Working Experience
- Minimum 8 years of HR experience in the Asia Pacific region.
- Experience in HR portfolio managements, service catalogues, service metrics and charging mechanism
- Familiar working with HR systems (SAP, ServiceNow and SuccessFactors).
- Experienced in quality management of HR shared services and HR competence hub.
- Good analytical skills & project management competence.
Technical & Professional Knowledge
- Requires high level of expertise and experience in HR specialisation topics such as Talent Acquisition, Payroll & Time, People Data etc.
- Good Human Resources knowledge in the Asia Pacific region.
- Excellent communication and people management/ development skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and process mapping applications.
- Fluent in speaking and written English. Knowledge of any other Asian languages is advantageous.
