Job Summary

The role of a Human Resource Specialist involves overseeing various HR functions, ensuring that the organization attracts, develops, and retains talent, while fostering a positive work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Employee Development

  • Execute both local and global learning programs aimed at enhancing employees' skills and achieving target levels of employee happiness and satisfaction.
  • Enhanced and implement new-hire orientation programs that cater to both general onboarding processes and specific job roles, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees into the company culture.
  • Collaborate with managers to assess skill gaps and create tailored training opportunities.
  • Ensure continuous learning through e-learning platforms and development programs.

Employee Engagement

  • Plan and organize employee engagement programs both local and global.
  • Develop initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention.

Organization Development

  • Enhance employee satisfaction and involvement in the organization’s mission and goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to manage organizational change, including structural changes, mergers, technology updates, or shifts in strategy.
  • Support the development of teams that are aligned with the organization’s mission and goals. This includes team-building activities, conflict resolution, and role clarification.

Employee Relations

  • Act as a point of contact for employees to address workplace concerns or conflicts, providing a safe environment for open discussion and problem-solving.
  • Promote a positive work environment through proactive communication and initiatives to resolve workplace disputes and ensure a harmonious atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Social Science, Psychology or equivalent.
  • Experience in talent/organization development with a strong focus on learning and development as well as employee engagement, is highly preferred
  • Self-starter, sense of urgency, ability to plan and prioritize, works well under pressure and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiarity with HR policies and talent management framework

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
