Objectives of the Position
- Demand planning process owner & systems expert for ASEAN & ANZ
- Single point of contact for ASEAN & ANZ consolidated demand forecast
- Ensure finished goods availability On Time In Full (OTIF) according to customers’ requested ETA from assigned production plant
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities
Demand Planner – ASEANA
- Manage the Demand Planning process performance, efficiency and effectiveness by development of a process management and monitoring framework within the Business Unit.
- Own the consolidated demand forecast for ASEANA countries over the 3-24 months horizon. Key interface between numerous functions within own business unit, as well as regional team wrt ASEANA demand.
- Lead demand review meetings.
- Collaborate with other demand planners to validate commercial adjustments to baseline forecasts
- Communicate the short- and long-range demand plan to Supply planners.
Supply Planner – specific plant to be advised (Merak, Indonesia)
- Balance demand forecast against supply capability and inventory to create a feasible constrained rough-cut supply plan for Own Manufactured Products (OMP).
- Enforce planning and order processing-related business rules.
- Communicate closely with site Production and Maintenance team to understand planned downtime, resource run time and labour availability.
- Collaborate closely with site production scheduler to ensure rough cut plan is implemented & finished goods availability meets customer’s required ETA.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 3-5 years in Supply Chain Management with hands-on planning experience
- Hands-on experience with ERP software (eg SAP MRP, APO SNP, OMP FCT, PP/DS, IBP, Plant Maintenance etc.)
- Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel
- Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) an advantage
- Basic financial literacy regarding working capital (inventory), revenue, profit
