QC Lab Technician
Key Responsibilities
1. Testing and Analysis:
a.)Conduct various battery performance tests, including charge retention, endurance, corrosion, and water consumption tests.
b.)Analyze and document test results accurately for reporting and further action.
2. Quality Control:
a.)Inspect batteries to ensure compliance with internal and IEC standards.
b.)Perform visual inspections and physical measurements to identify defects.
3. Maintenance of Equipment:
a.)Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory testing equipment.
b.)Ensure all tools and instruments are in optimal working condition.
4. Data Management:
a.)Maintain detailed records of tests, observations, and results.
b.)Use laboratory software or tools for efficient data entry and analysis.
5. Safety Compliance:
a.)Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while handling batteries and testing equipment.
b.)Ensure proper storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
6. Collaboration:
a.)Work closely with the quality assurance team, and other departments.
b.)Provide technical insights during new product development and testing phases.
Required Skills
a.)Strong knowledge of battery technology and electrical systems.
b.)Familiarity with laboratory equipment and testing procedures.
c.)Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues.
d.)Proficient in using tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment.
e.)Data analysis and report writing skills.

Qualifications: Diploma in a Relevant Field:
a.)Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or similar.
b.)Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, or related quality management systems.
Experience and other Requirements
a.)Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in battery testing or electrical product testing.
b.)Willingness to learn and adapt to new testing methods.
c.)Ability to work independently and in a team.
d.)Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software for reporting and documentation.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
