The Data Executive will assist in consolidating and analyzing sales and retail data, supporting the department in tracking performance metrics and preparing basic dashboards. This role will primarily involve operational tasks, ensuring reports are accurate, timely, and useful for decision making.
Responsibilities:
1. Data Collection & Reporting
- Collect and organize data from multiple sales channels and platforms.
- Prepare regular reports on key sales and retail metrics (weekly, monthly, and quarterly)
2. Basic Dashboard Creation
- Develop simple, user-friendly dashboards using Excel or Power BI with supervision from the department head.
- Update and maintain dashboards to reflect accurate, up-to-date data.
3. Analysis Support
- Provide basic analysis of sales and retail data to highlight trends and variances.
- Assist in generating insights for department presentations.
4. Administrative Support
- Support the automation of repetitive reporting tasks where possible.
- Maintain data integrity by ensuring all sources are verified and validated.
5. Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with sales managers to gather required data and feedback.
- Communicate findings clearly to the team for operational decisions.
Key Requirements:
- Education : Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
- Experience : 1-2 years of experience in a similar role (fresh graduates with strong skills can also apply).
- Technical Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts) and basic Power BI skills.
- Basic SQL knowledge is a bonus.
- Soft Skills : Attention to detail and organizational skills, willingness to learn and improve tecnical and analytical skills, effective communication and teamwork skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
