Senior TSE Technician (Penang, Malaysia)
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Working alongside engineers in troubleshooting customers’ technical issues
- Setting up systems or demo units for TSE troubleshooting, proofs-of-concept, or demos
- Troubleshooting NI and third-party hardware modules for functionalities validation
- Managing VM servers, demo-room and store-room
- Managing and improving hardware loaning and shipping processes
- Maintaining the hardware asset database and track all movements of assets in appropriate asset tracking system
- Taking lead in NCPS requests/processes which include procurement process
- Implementing procedures and document processes on weekly basis as needed

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Proficiency in English
- Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in electronics and electrical engineering or computer science. Other fields may be considered if relevant.
- Experienced in hardware troubleshooting; software and driver installations, with basic electronic knowledges
- Experienced with basic computer troubleshooting skills (HW – hard drives, SW – installation, proprietary licensing, etc.)
- Worked effectively in an ambiguous and dynamic environment
- Strong in communication skills, analytical mindset, effective problem-solving skills, self-starter and growth mindset
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Experienced in working with NI hardware and LabVIEW
- Experienced in using handheld and benchtop instruments such as oscilloscopes, digital multi meters, power supplies, etc.
- Experienced in inventory or asset management systems, working crossed functions and geographies.
