
Boiler Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate, maintain, and optimize boiler systems to meet operational and safety requirements.
* Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify potential issues in boiler systems.
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boiler components, including burners, pumps, and valves.
* Analyze boiler performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
* Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards related to boiler operations.
* Develop and maintain maintenance schedules, logs, and documentation for boiler systems.
* Provide technical guidance and training to plant personnel on boiler operation and maintenance.
* Assist in the commissioning and start-up of new boilers or modifications.
Qualifications:
* Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in boiler operations and maintenance, preferably in power plants or industrial settings.
* In-depth knowledge of boiler systems, including fire-tube and water-tube boilers.
* Familiarity with safety regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., ASME Boiler Code, OSHA).
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with boiler efficiency and emissions control technologies.
* Knowledge of auxiliary equipment such as feedwater systems, economizers, and superheaters.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: RM3,700.00 - RM6,973.31 per month
