Key Responsibilities:


  • General management of facilities management and construction management in Malaysia

  • Define and implement steering model in FM in line with regional and global resourcing strategy

  • Manage of inhouse Facility Service employees

  • Steer suppliers in Facility Management to ensure interference-free operation

  • Provide RE Support to the site representatives in cluster in execution of facility related tasks, in case of delegation and their compliance to SOPs and local law

  • Liaise with Landlord on RE-related site concerns

  • Define and implement facility management budgets in line with business targets

  • Drive RE initiatives to achieve Schenker’s sustainability targets

  • Steer & coordinate construction projects, either as owner representative or as consultant of investors (built to suit)

  • Oversee project progress and quality, incl. monitoring of deadlines and control of investment planning, budgeting, and benchmarking

  • Support data management of the real estate portfolio incl. set up of reports ; Data Quality target >95%

  • Drive risk & quality management

Job Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience

  • Expert knowledge of facility & real estate management

  • Project management skills

  • Strategic development

  • Risk management expertise
