Overview: We are seeking a passionate Curriculum & Program Developer to enhance our existing Skills Training & Entrepreneurship Program. In this full-time position, you will collaborate with our team to innovate curriculum, train educators, and align skills training with market demand. Your role will be pivotal in empowering young minds, ensuring program sustainability, and fostering their success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Development and Enhancement

  • Improve existing curriculum and assessments using Montessori philosophy and project-based learning.
  • Collaborate with educators and trainers to ensure relevance and quality.
  • Plan engaging learning programs and events aligned with students' skills development.
  • Identify new opportunities and collaborations to enhance student engagement.
  • Spearhead development of choice projects and activities to support ‘real life learning’ that allows students to showcase their work for a relevant audience.

For example: Joint Year End Art Exhibition open to public that features work by the Videography class, Photography Class, Graphic design class.

2. Program Monitoring

  • Maintain conducive learning environments, ensuring safety and proper resources for each class.
  • Monitor curriculum implementation and assess student progress effectively.
  • Oversee assessment strategies to optimize student learning outcomes.
  • Address discipline issues with empathy, implementing appropriate corrective measures when required.

3. Educator Training

  • Support Trainer upskilling through termly Teacher Trainings.
  • Curate materials to enhance educators' pedagogy and classroom management.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning among educators through mentorship programs.

4. Program Expansion and Collaboration

  • Pursue collaborations and tie-ups with partners to enrich students' learning experiences.
  • Explore opportunities for program expansion, ensuring accessibility for a wider range of youth.
  • Engage in long-term partnerships to support students' transition into the marketplace.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of educational experience, with expertise in curriculum development.
  • Passion for youth education and character development.
  • Strong project management, communication, and administrative skills.
