  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Minimum Competency Requirement

1. Possess a Degree in Mechanical/Chemical or Structural Engineering.

2. Preferably with experience in the design and engineering of pressure vessels and tank to ASME SEC VIII, BS 550, API 650.

3. Preferably with minimum 5 years relevant experience.

4. Fresh graduates without the relevant experience but possess any of the above academic qualifications may be considered.

Responsibilities

1. To perform strength calculation for pressure vessels and storage tanks to ASME, BS, API standards and tubular heat exchangers to TEMA standard.

2. To perform detail checking of the design calculation/construction drawings to ensure that all the requirements of the client specification and Code have been met and consideration has been given to feasibility of fabrication, workshop and QC practice, and availability of materials.

3. To correspond with client on technical matters until all the process/strength calculations and construction drawings and approved.

4. To submit application of pressure vessel design to DOSH and Third Party, and follow-up to ensure timely approval.

5. Required to take-off bill of materials from drawings when needs arise, and to prepare certain technical specifications for procurement.
