CONTRACT MANAGER
Job responsibility
1. Manage commercial and contractual aspects from pre-tender to post-contract
stages.
2. Able to draft construction related agreements such as letters of award, letters of
intent, conditions of contract, sub-contracts, nominated sub-contracts, novation
agreements, performance bonds, warranties and consultancy agreements. Lead
negotiations with employers, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
3. Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize project costs.
4. Establish and maintain an effective material usage control system.
5. Monitor construction works, claims, and construction drawings for accuracy.
6. Verify and certify supplier invoices and claims.
7. Prepare and submit project claims.
8. Conduct site valuations and attend project meetings as required.
9. Communicate effectively to convey ideas, expectations, and information to
subordinate, directors, and clients.
10. Must be highly organized to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and resources
simultaneously.
11. Able to manage project budgets and make informed decisions to ensure the project
stays within budget.
Job requirements
- At least 5 years working experiences in related field. (construction / infrastructure)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related
field.
- Computer literate
- Good negotiation skill.
- Leadership skill
- Responsible and independent.

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
