JOB SUMMARY:

  • Implement marketing and sales strategies to achieve yearly organizational goals.
  • To communicate and build relationships with customers, define and interpret customer requirements to develop new products with customers and manage the sales team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary duties: (Approximately 70% to 80% of daily work schedule)

  • Develop relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Research and identify new market opportunities and trends.
  • Lead and manage the sales and marketing executive, setting performance goals and monitoring their progress. This includes recruiting, training, and evaluating staff to ensure the team's effectiveness.
  • Ensure the duties of his/ her subordinates are properly done.
  • Handle customer inquiry and requirements.
  • Ensure customer requirements are being met at all levels of production.
  • Verify shipping documents, proforma invoice and shipping orders.
  • Prepare and send samples as per customer’s requisition for sales solicitations.
  • Prepare total monthly order report.

Secondary duties: (Approximately 20% to 30% of daily work schedule)

  • Create and manage advertising and promotional activities to drive sales and enhance brand visibility.
  • Participate in ISO activities and customers’ audit.
  • Attend events or exhibitions.
  • Receive and resolve customer issues and complaints.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
  • The person is expected to work closely with staffs from all departments.

Authorities:

  • Instruct production to arrange orders and to take immediate corrective action whenever the production outputs do not meet customer’s requirement.
  • Make decision on non-conforming product for incoming and outgoing goods and WIP.
  • Authorize to approve Proforma Invoice, shipping orders and shipping documents.
  • Authorize to approve Delivery Orders.
  • To approve subordinates’ leaves.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to establish rapport relationship with customer through telex-communication.
  • Fluent in speaking and writing both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.
  • Able to work under pressure.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Preferably Diploma/ Degree in relevant field.
  • 5 years or above relevant practical experience.
