We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead the development and expansion of our clinical services. The Head of Clinical Services Development will be responsible for driving innovation, overseeing the strategic development of clinical programs, and ensuring the integration of new services into the Careclinics’s clinical portfolio. This role will require a deep understanding of healthcare systems, clinical operations, regulatory standards, revenue growth, and market trends, combined with the ability to lead cross-functional teams to successfully deliver high-impact clinical solutions.

Accountabilities and Key Result Areas

1. Service Development and Implementation

  • Design, introduce, and implement new clinical services aligned with Careclinics’ mission and goals.
  • Identify innovative services tailored to patient needs and market demand.

2. Scaling Existing Services

  • Develop strategies to enhance the capacity and efficiency of current clinical offerings.
  • Lead initiatives to integrate advanced diagnostic tools and procedures into Careclinics’ portfolio.

3. Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, clinicians, business leaders, regulatory bodies, and external partners.
  • Lead clinical collaborations with academic institutions, healthcare providers, and industry partners.

4. Monitoring and Optimization

  • Regularly evaluate the performance of implemented services, ensuring high standards of patient care and financial performance.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify areas for improvement and make evidence-based decisions.

5. Point-of-Care Services

  • Drive adoption and utilization of point-of-care diagnostics and tools across all Careclinics.
  • Ensure seamless integration of point-of-care services into clinical workflows.

6. Revenue Growth

  • Oversee the budgeting and financial planning process for new clinical services and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to prioritize professional services such as procedures and investigations.
  • Work to align clinical services with revenue targets while maintaining quality and patient satisfaction.

7. Collaboration and Training

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful implementation of new services.
  • Provide training and capacity-building for clinical teams to enhance service delivery.
  • Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience

  • Medical degree (MD/MBBS or equivalent) and a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
  • Postgraduate qualifications in public health, healthcare management, MBA, or related fields are an advantage.
  • Proven track record in clinical service development and operational improvement.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare trends and innovation in service delivery.
  • Strategic planning and execution skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and utilize data effectively.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Growth in professional service revenue.
