Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Operations & Reporting

  • Execute month-end closing processes with high accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain comprehensive financial records including payables, receivables, and ledger entries
  • Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Process banking transactions and monitor cash flow
  • Support weekly management reporting requirements

Analysis & Planning

  • Conduct detailed expense analysis and year-end accruals
  • Contribute to annual budgeting and cash flow projections
  • Support financial system implementation initiatives

Compliance & Stakeholder Management

  • Ensure timely submission of income tax, CP204, and adherence to tax regulations
  • Coordinate with auditors and tax agents for year-end audit
  • Assist in preparation of annual financial statements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proactive communication style and team-oriented mindset
  • Experience with accounting systems
  • Knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience with system implementation projects in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong costing experience
  • Ability to identify and highlight financial/operational improvements
  • Strong project management capabilities
