Account Manager (Full Set of Accounting)

Job Detail:
· Oversee the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
· Manage the entire accounting process, from journal entries and ledgers to tax reporting and audits.
· Ensure accurate reconciliation of bank accounts, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, and other balance sheet accounts.
· Ensure all financial activities are in compliance with local accounting regulations and standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP), as well as tax laws.
· Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
· Oversee cash flow forecasting, manage liquidity, and ensure that working capital is optimized.
· Coordinate external audits and manage the preparation of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and timely submission.
· Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
· Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and control in financial operations.
· Provide monthly/quarterly financial analysis and reporting to management, highlighting key financial trends, forecasts, and potential risks.
· Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring financial goals align with the company’s overall strategy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a strong advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with proven expertise across the full spectrum of finance operations (GL, AP, AR, Budgeting, Forecasting, Tax, and Audit).
- Shared Service experience is highly preferred, particularly in a global or multi-national setting.
- Advanced Excel: Strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling) for reporting and analysis.
- Autocount: Proficiency in using Autocount or similar accounting software for day-to-day accounting tasks.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
