  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job holder is responsible for all duties related to Logistics function of the Company with the aim of providing effective support and ensuring all logistics processes are performed in accordance to the Company’s policies, procedures and in alignment with the business strategies and objectives.

Responsibilities

1. Import & Export

  • Follow-up on import and export shipments with the shipping lines or forwarders for their estimated time of arrival/departure, accurate documentations in line with the requirements, and notify Regulatory to obtain the import/export permits
  • Ensure that the procedures and requirement for import & export of hazardous substances, other regulated items are in line with the Control Authority requirements (license/permit).
  • To assist sales in obtaining freight cost quotation from forwarder for import/ export consignment.
  • Follow-up with shipping company and forwarder in the event of damaged shipment and arrangement with underwriter for joint survey. Put up claim when necessary to the party concerned.
  • Checking and verification of invoices from shipping agents/ forwarders/courier.
  • To perform checking of forwarder Quotation / Bills


2.3PL Warehouse and Transporter

  • Liaise with 3PL for incoming and outgoing deliveries.
  • To work closely with 3PL in monitoring performance level and assist in stock count and any reconciliation in stock record if required.
  • To liaise with 3PL in meeting regulatory storage requirement from the relevant authorities.
  • Filing of shipping documents/Delivery orders.
  • Perform warehouse/ transportation audit regularly to ensure 3PL & transporter meet our requirements
  • Prepare Label Templates (CLASS / Customer’s specific requirement).
  • Ensure that third party transporter when transporting our hazardous substances, must comply with the local regulation.
  • Liaise with respective transporters for truck booking/planning arrangement in daily basis
  • To perform checking of transportation Quotation / Bills.
  • Ensure all the POD been collected and filling accordingly

Qualifications

Job Qualifications

  • Diploma / Degree Holder in Supply Chain / Logistics or any related fields. Those without the relevant qualification but possess warehouse/ logistics related experience may be considered.
  • 2 – 3 years preferably in Logistics / Shipping / 3PL.
  • Experience in SAP will be an added advantage
