Job Summary:

We are looking for Catering Supervisor who is responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations in a central kitchen environment, ensuring food production meets quality, hygiene, and safety standards. This role involves coordinating kitchen staff, managing inventory, maintaining workflow efficiency, and ensuring timely delivery of food to various catering locations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Kitchen Operations – Supervise food preparation, portioning, and packaging to meet quality standards.
  • Staff Management – Assign tasks, train staff, and ensure teamwork for smooth operations.
  • Quality & Hygiene – Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health regulations.
  • Inventory Control – Monitor stock levels, reduce waste, and coordinate supply orders.
  • Equipment & Facility Maintenance – Ensure proper use and cleanliness of kitchen equipment.
  • Coordination & Communication – Work with managers, kitchen staff, and delivery teams for efficient workflow.
  • Ad-hoc : Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as maybe assigned by the superior.

Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years experience as a Catering Supervisor or similar role.
  • Knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and inventory tracking.
