  • Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance Management:

Ø Oversee the maintenance of all production machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

Ø Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan.

2. Process Improvement:

Ø Lead the re-design, refurbishment, and modification of machines and equipment to improve production processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.

Ø Collaborate withproduction teams to identify opportunities for process optimization.

3. Safety & Compliance:

Ø Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Ø Maintain adherence to ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP, Sirim Eco Lable.

4. Team Leadership:

Ø Lead, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians.

Ø Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

5. Troubleshooting & Repairs:

Ø Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and technical issues promptly.

Ø Ensure all equipment is operating at optimal performance.

6. Inventory & Cost Control:

Ø Manage spare parts inventory and procurement to ensure availability while controlling costs.

7. Collaboration:

Ø Work closely with production, quality assurance, and other departments to support operational goals and improve efficiency.

8. Reporting:

Ø Prepare and maintain maintenance reports, records, costing and documentation.

9. Innovation:

Ø Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to drive improvements in maintenance processes.

Qualifications:

Ø Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance management, preferably in a plastic packaging or manufacturing environment.

Ø Strong knowledge of safety and health regulations, ISO standards, and environmental compliance.

Ø Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Ø Proven leadership and team management skills.

Ø Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Ø Proficiency in using mircosoft office, Power BI, and etc.

Ø Relevant technical certifications or qualifications (e.g., mechanical/electrical engineering) are a plus.
