Purchase to Pay (PtP) Accountant - Travel and Expense
WHAT'S THE ROLE?
You will be responsible for the timely completion of the tasks detailed below and actively support the PtP Manager to ensure high quality services are offered to the entities serviced by the Shared Service Center.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?
As a PtP Accountant specializing in Travel and Expense, you will be primarily responsible for tool optimization tasks, such as:
Defining and Enforcing Exception Rules
- Develop, document, and enforce exception rules to ensure adherence to company policies for travel and expenses.
- Monitor for any inconsistencies or violations and propose corrective actions where necessary to maintain compliance and consistency in expense reporting.
Running Reports and Analyzing Data
- Generate and analyze regular reports on employee travel and expense submissions.
- Identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management regarding expense patterns and potential savings.
Bug Fixing and Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve system issues related to travel and expense management software.
- Collaborate with IT to troubleshoot bugs and implement necessary updates or patches.
Implementing and Updating T&E Policies
- Review and update company travel and expense policies to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulations.
- Educate employees on policy changes and ensure that new policies are effectively implemented.

WHAT YOU NEED IS:
- At least a Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in T&E processing
- Expertise in SAP Concur reporting and tool maintenance
- Experience in compliance tools (e.g. Appzen)
- Financial literacy
- Attention to detail
- Actively embracing innovation and driving change
- English written & verbal communication skills
- Expertise in MS office suite
