Responsibilities:
- Handle full set of accounts, including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Ensure timely closing of accounts and compliance with financial regulations.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to optimize financial performance.
- Manage multi-branch financials, consolidating accounts across various locations.
- Handle inventory accounting, cost control, and variance analysis.
- Track sales reconciliation across different payment methods (cash, credit card, e-wallets).
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure accurate revenue and expense tracking.
- Prepare and submit GST/SST and corporate tax filings in compliance with local regulations.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and external stakeholders as required.
- Process Improvement & System Management
- Maintain accounting systems and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements in financial workflows.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ACCA qualification is a strong advantage.
- 5-8 years of experience handling full set accounts, preferably in retail/FMCG.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (SQL, SAP, AutoCount, Xero, etc.).
- Mandarin-speaking candidates are highly preferred (for liaising with suppliers and stakeholders).
- Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and leadership experience.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
