Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to grow the data center business.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities in the data center, cloud, and enterprise markets.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to develop strategic initiatives to stay ahead of competition.
  • Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring optimal customer engagement.
  • Manage, mentor, and lead a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, training, and support to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Drive collaboration within the sales team and cross-functional teams (technical, marketing, operations) to ensure customer satisfaction and success.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the point of contact for major client accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring service excellence.
  • Understand customer requirements and tailor solutions accordingly to maximize revenue and long-term partnerships.
  • Track sales progress and performance metrics, adjusting strategies and tactics as needed to meet or exceed goals.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns, promotional materials, and lead-generation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the technical team and provide customers with the most relevant solutions.
  • Align with the operations and product teams to ensure smooth project delivery and fulfillment of customer requirements.
  • Oversee the negotiation process for contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
  • Assist in the resolution of any client concerns or disputes related to the service agreements.
  • Regularly update internal teams on industry developments to adapt sales strategies and identify new opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales or BD role within the data center industry.
  • Proven experience in managing sales teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in local language, English and Mandarin.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM13,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
