About the Role

As a key part of the ICT Service Operations team, the role of ICT Procurement Analyst is to facilitate an efficient process for the purchasing of hardware, software, licenses and the management of certain vendor contracts.

Responsibilities will include:

Working with colleagues in ICT, Procurement and Finance to deliver efficient administrative processes for all aspects of IT Hardware and software, for example:

  • Procurement of equipment and consumables
  • Maintenance of IT asset information and administrative support of lease processes.
  • Support the IT capital planning process
  • Liaising within the department for order and delivery requirements
  • Liaising with ICT, Procurement and suppliers on quotes and logistics
  • Undertake financial asset management processes associated with ordering, delivery, receipting and invoicing.
  • Providing reports as requested
  • Procurement of software licenses and license renewals
  • Maintaining software licence records.
  • Facilitate internal software re-charging as required
  • Other activities may be undertaken as required.

Skills & experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience similar environment, managing hardware and software administration.
  • Third level qualification in IT or similar would be an advantage
  • Commitment and drive to provide a high quality and professional service.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or to work unsupervised and take responsibility for the completion of tasks.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Experience using SAP would be advantageous but not necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
