Job description
- Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
- Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
- Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
- Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
- Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
- Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
- Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- One of the primary responsibilities of a Quantity Surveyor during the Pre Contract phase is to develop a detailed cost plan for the project.
- Will be involved in the tendering process, which includes preparing and issuing tender documents, evaluating tenders, and recommending the best tenderer.
- Play a vital role in negotiating the contract terms and conditions with the successful tenderer, ensuring that the terms are fair and balanced.
- Risk management is a crucial aspect of the Pre Contract phase, and Quantity Surveyors are responsible for identifying and mitigating risks that could impact the project's cost, quality, or schedule.

- Traveling from the office to various sites as required.
Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar.
- Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Sound knowledge of construction.
- Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
- A valid driver's license.
- Great networking abilities.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM7,126.78 per month
