  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position: Senior Lecturer

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate learning and conduct research at IMU, teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students using diverse methods including lectures, seminars, tutorials, and e-learning.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and high-quality learning experiences.
  • Assess students' coursework, set and mark examinations, and plan field visits.
  • Establish industry partnerships and participate in accreditation exercises.
  • Coordinate modules, semesters, and related activities.
  • Conduct research, maintain a strong publication record, secure research grants, and supervise student research.
  • Engage in collaborations with institutions, government bodies, and industry on research and educational projects.
  • Demonstrate experience in the industry to enhance teaching and research activities.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and participate in staff training.
  • Perform administrative tasks including student admissions and coordination of various academic roles.

Required Qualifications

  • DVM required; postgraduate degree in Veterinary Physiology, Veterinary Anatomy, or Equine Medicine preferred; PhD is a plus.
  • Academic experience at RCVS-accredited universities is an advantage.
  • Specialist qualifications and affiliations with professional bodies are advantageous.
  • Proven track record of publications and securing research grants.
  • Experience in the industry is desirable.
  • Preferred teaching experience, proficiency in English, and strong IT skills.
  • Reliable, pleasant, and a creative problem solver.
