The Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, School of Pharmacy at IMU University invites applications for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer position. Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and learning experiences, including curriculum development and assessment.
- Conduct independent research leading to publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Secure external research funding to support research activities.
- Supervise graduate and undergraduate research projects.
- Contribute to the academic administration of the School.
- Foster collaborations with industry and other academic institutions.
Qualifications
- A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, or a closely related field.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching, preferably in a higher education setting.
- A strong record of research, as evidenced by publications in high-impact journals.
- Experience in securing research grants and supervising research students.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in eLearning technologies is preferred.

- Prior experience in academic leadership or administration.
