  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

The Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, School of Pharmacy at IMU University invites applications for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer position. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and innovative academic who will contribute significantly to the School’s teaching, research, and service mission.

Responsibilities


    • Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and learning experiences, including curriculum development and assessment.
    • Conduct independent research leading to publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.

  • Secure external research funding to support research activities.
  • Supervise graduate and undergraduate research projects.
  • Contribute to the academic administration of the School.
  • Foster collaborations with industry and other academic institutions.

Qualifications

  • A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, or a closely related field.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • A strong record of research, as evidenced by publications in high-impact journals.
  • Experience in securing research grants and supervising research students.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in eLearning technologies is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in academic leadership or administration.
  • A strong track record of industry collaborations and partnerships.
  • Experience in curriculum development and assessment.
