LOGISTICS SPECIALIST

Reports to : Manager, Logistics, Shipping & Outbound

Direct reports : None

Our mission is to ensure order process on time and goods shipped to customer on time


The Logistics Specialist is responsible for the process of day to day orders received


Core Responsibilities:

  • Order Processing – Process day to day orders received
  • Coordination with Operation – Coordinate with operation to ensure target ship date achieved
  • Status of Order – To provide visibility on status of each order and communicate to Global Sales Operation Team
  • Stocks Review – Review daily stock, production plan to up-date the shipping plan
  • Booking of Shipment – Manage the booking of shipment and ensure shipping documents are prepared according to customer’s requirement and deliver to recipient for customs clearance
  • Ocean/Air Freight Control – Control and minimize the ocean/air freight cost by looking for at least 2 agents for price comparation
  • Samples Processing – Process sample request, deliver and status tracking
  • Others – Other additional task might be assigned when necessary

Qualified candidates will have:

Mandatory requirements:

  • Graduate with at least Diploma
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing environment specifically in shipping / logistics line
  • English fluency, both written and spoken


Desirable requirements:

  • Experience of working in Multinational Company and in food industry will be an advantage
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and interact with all levels
  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantages
