IT Executive
Key Responsibilities:
IT Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT system errors, connectivity problems, and user access issues.
- Assist employees with software installations, updates, and configurations.
Incident Management
- Act as the first point of contact for IT incidents and service requests.
- Log, analyze, and prioritize IT issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Escalate critical issues to senior IT personnel or external vendors when necessary.
- Maintain incident reports and root cause analysis for future prevention.
System & Network Administration
- Maintain and manage servers, network infrastructure, and IT security.
- Monitor system performance, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal functionality.
- Implement data backup and disaster recovery plans to protect critical business data.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Ensure IT security policies are followed to protect company data.
- Manage firewall, antivirus, and security protocols to prevent cyber threats.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with IT policies and best practices.
IT Project & Vendor Management
- Assist in IT-related projects, system upgrades, and new technology implementations.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and IT support services.
- Evaluate and recommend IT solutions to improve business efficiency.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network management.
Strong knowledge of Incident Management frameworks (ITIL is a plus).
Experience with Windows & Mac operating systems, Microsoft 365, and networking protocols.
Familiarity with server management, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices.
Knowledge of cloud computing, database management, and ERP systems is a plus.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple IT tasks efficiently.
Willing to work in Shah Alam, Selangor. Company will relocate from Seksyen 26 (Shah Alam) to Glenmarie (Shah Alam) soon.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
