Job Overview:

Guan Chong Cocoa Manufacturer Sdn Bhd is Asia’s largest cocoa processing company that is based in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia. We are currently seeking a Trading Executive to support the cocoa trading department on trading and daily operational issues. This position will mainly focus on assisting the traders and any other ad hoc assigned duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Support supplier approval process. Ensure assessments completed, supporting documentation received and SOP followed.
  • Work in close collaboration with the EUDR project teams and trading colleagues to monitor compliant cocoa volumes and ensure compliance with EUDR requirements.
  • Traceability; Monitor EUDR deliveries and verify suppliers’ traceability processes and documents against Compliant Cocoa SOP.Deforestation Risk Assessments: review geodata received from suppliers to ensure deliveries have negligible risk of deforestation.
  • Information Management: Manage all documentation related to supplier assessments and compliant cocoa deliveries so it is securely stored and auditable.
  • Risk Management: follow-up supplier action plans and ensure risk mitigation measures are carried out.

Structure:

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and identify potential compliance risks or issues.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in reviewing documents and processes to ensure all compliance requirements are met.
  • Audit Techniques: Familiarity with auditing processes and tools to evaluate compliance effectiveness.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in fields such business administration, accounting, or supply chain management.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications, such as Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Work Experience: Previous experience in compliance, risk management, auditing, or legal roles. Experience in the supply chain/logistics is beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,200.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
