JOB PURPOSE
Key Account Sales Executive is a role assisting the Manager of the Sales Department (MT & GT) in discharging duties of the Department which include to drive and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market penetration within the modern trade channel (MT & GT).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, initiate and cultivate strategic distributor with key modern trade accounts to expand, market reach and increase sales volume
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize sales opportunities
- Analise market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and drive sales performance.
- Negotiate terms and agreement with distributor / chain to optimize profitability and maintain competitive price strategies (promotions).
- Collaborate closely with cross functional teams including marketing, supply chain and finance to ensure alignment of strategies and efficient execution of plans.
- Provide market insights and feedback to internal teams to support product development and marketing initiatives.
- Develop and implement market expansion strategies to penetrate new markets and increase market share.
- To handle customer complaints effectively by compiling sufficient information for investigation an. Partner with relevant Departments to drive improvement to eliminate or minimize recurring complaints.
- Execute existing sales policies and keep policies updated to meet Company’s growth requirements.
- Perform any other tasks as and when necessary and required.
- Carry out duties in complying to Company’s Food Safety System, Company’s Environment Guidelines, Company’s Health and Safety Guidelines, Company’s Policy and Procedures, etc. by maintaining, evaluating and continuous improvement.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor's degree, Communications, or any related discipline.
- At least 5 years in Key Account and FMCG Market experience.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Ability to speak Mandarin will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in Ms Office, Excel & Power Point
- High level communication skills and proven ability to negotiate.
- Capable to accept constant changes and challenges.
- Self-motivated with positive mindset.
- Results oriented and strived to exceed targets.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Willing to work in KL.
